The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows members of the public to request access to official records held by the Utah Highway Patrol within the UTSRP community, such as incident reports, statistics, or policy documents. Requests are reviewed by department staff and fulfilled where appropriate, subject to ongoing investigations, officer safety, and department policy.
